Getting flashy with Veronica Caven Aldous

Our latest exhibition is an offering of recent works by Veronica Caven Aldous. You may know Veronica's work from last years Assemble exhibition, also held at Town Hall Gallery.

This offering is a visually astounding exhibition that involves construction, painting and lightboxes. The work above, talks about our obsession with the digital screen, such as that of televisions, mobile phones and digital advertising. As viewers, we are immediately drawn to the flashing and changing colours on the screen first, leaving the 'real paintings' laying in piles underneath as a second thought.

If you enjoy colour, this exhibition is definitely for you. It's been quite amazing to see how our first lot of viewers have come in and are drawn to particular colours and screens. This is an exhibition not to miss!

Recent Works by Veronica Caven Aldous is open until 27 March. Join us In Conversation on Saturday 20 March from 2pm until 3pm for a fascinating discussion about colour and modern digital life.
